Sibiu Zoo is the first zoo in Romania was opened in 1929. The garden covers an area of over 20 hectares and home to 268 animals and birds from 63 species: monkeys, bears, white wolves, Iberian wolves, tigers, lions, jaguar, pigs, llamas, Carpathian deer, deer, buffalo, white pony, reticulated python, crocodile, pheasants, parrots, peacocks, pigeons.
