Thiruppugazh

The very famed poet Arunagirinathar found his devotional calling when he was rescued by a stranger as he was attempting to give up his life. He claimed that the person was none other than Lord Muruga, and then began his journey of writing songs in praise of Lord Muruga, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Parvati. Thiruppugazh means the holy praise.
