The latest European guideline on chronic pancreatitis has recently been published. The overall objective of these guidelines is to provide evidence-based recommendations for the diagnosis and medical, endoscopic and surgical management of chronic pancreatitis, especially diagnosis and treating pancreatic exocrine insufficiency as the major symptom.
