Muay Thai is an ancient martial arts style that dates back to the 15th century in Thailand. While Muay Thai matches in previous centuries were often brutal fights, the Muay Thai of today is governed by a referee who keeps track of points, and opponents wear protective gear to minimize the harm done to one another.
