INDIAN GENERATIVE

INDIAN GENERATIVE is a visual generative musical instrument built with processing by French digital artist Jean-Michel Rolland. The user chooses the tempo and the musical style from ten different modes (called "thaat") used in northern India. These modes differ in the notes which compose them: Asavari: C - D - Eb - F - G - Ab - Bb - C.
